Touring in 2025/6 – suitable for community spaces, libraries, nurseries.
Nosferatu is atmospheric and very playful. It is influenced by the 1922 silent horror film. The production uses object theatre and puppetry to show the artistry of the German expressionist filmmaker F.W. Murnau.
With original music by John Moore, co-writing with Rebecca Kilbey and puppetry direction by Stacey Mitchell. Sound design by Haddon Kime, dramaturgy by Jen McGregor, photography Chris Scott, Videography Lucas Kao
Funded by Creative Scotland.
A tiny world tale for older children (8+) and adults. The entire story takes place within a suitcase.

Space Requirements
It requires a small space – is suitable for schools, libraries, community centres, theatre studios etc. This is also an ideal companion piece for The Seven Ravens, which is a show for 5 to 7s. Enquiries: Sheena Miller: sheena@ruraltouringagency.co.uk
Testimonials
In times when most things are fast paced and over stimulating, it was great to see “Nosferatu” from @tragicarpet the attention to detail in every element, to be able to enjoy the sound, the movement, the nuances that (re)define and (re)shape characters and plot, the simplicity and efficiency of storytelling at its core… and thank you, for a great chat, in the end of the show.

We very much enjoyed Freda’s visit, the residents responded very well to the experience and she held the attention of the residents, especially in the morning session that was geared towards the residents with dementia. Some residents went to both shows! The concept was brilliant and the puppets worked so well, such a good idea.
