A Workshop for Curious Children and Adults

This hands on, adaptable workshop teaches the basics of puppetry in an accessible and playful way. It is suitable for ages 8 to adult and works well as an intergenerational workshop.

Participants will learn about different kinds of puppets and how to bring a ‘table top’ puppet to life. They will explore things like breath, focus, emotion and intention and how to use these in working as a team operating a puppet.

The workshop length is 1 hour for very young children and 2 hours for older children and adults. It is an ideal wraparound or extension to Suitcase Stories but can also be standalone. Maximum participants 15.
